Hey, looking to install a trans temp gauge on a single pillar mount. Just wondering what temps people are seeing? Looking at the ISSPRO gauges there is a 100-280 and a 140-320 degree options. I have a built trans is that matters for temps.

 

Depends on were you put it. I got the wrong gauge for the pan with the 140-320°F version and it rarely moves off of the 140 mark unless I am towing in town, then it gets to maybe 170. If you are taking outlet temps from the tranny in the line, then thats the temp range to get. Otherwise, go with the 100-280°F version.

I am contemplating moving mine to the line.
