Track bars... Worth it?

I am contemplating finally updating to longer track bars. I am thinking Thuren or Carli 1/2" longer to match my 3 inch spring lift in front. I know the bushings on the stockers are finally starting to wear out as they squeak when rolling slow over bumps and I can see rubber chunks pushing out the sides. Just out of curiosity has anyone changed their's out and then just said "Wow, thats a great improvement"? How noticible will it be? I have not had any D.W. yet, this would be preventive maintenance as far as that is concerned.

Absolutely! I got the Thuren Adjustable and immediately noticed my truck jerked less when I hit bumps.

Sheesh, I'm a ****! What I meant to ask about was control arms. Yes, I changed out my track bar and that was a major improvement!

So, now that I have my head on straight, can you offer oppinions on Contol Arms?.

thanks.

Oh sorry not yet. The control arms shouldnt make any differance in how it drives. It will only bring your axle back under yout truck. It may make hitting bumps feel better because the angle the truck is absorbing the impact.

I will findout here shortly becasue I am going to be installing my lift in a few weeks.

Okay, thanks. That's what I figured, I'll still make the investment I just have to get it in my head to not have huge expectations.

What kind of lift are you doing? I'd be interested in knowing how you like it compared to stock. I have had my lift on for so long I hardly remember what it used to be like.

I have a 6" lift with long arms from tough country. Amazing difference in how the truck rides. Doesn't even feel like the same truck. Also just makes it looks way better.
Changes it from a 4 link to a radius arm setup
I think they make a 4" lift set too.....

Not the best pics... but you get the idea.

Nice looking truck Easy C. those control arms are about twice the length of the stockers. Looks good, like that inferno red too.

Thanks for the feedback.
