Torque Convertor Drain

When changing the transmission fluid on the 04.5 is there a drain plug for the torque convertor. Also, I see the TSB for the Governor Pressure Solenoid Valve, as discussed in other threads, where can this be purchased other than the dealer. Dealer price here for part # 04617210 is $144.00.
Thank you.

No drain plug for the TC, most just pull the rear cooler line and route it into a contanier. Run in neutral until flow drops, fill trans and repeat until fluid looks good.

OEM solenoid, transducer there also:

Which line is the rear cooler line? Is this the hard line on the driver side about 6 inches above the pan?

Both the cooler lines are hard lines. You will have one at the front which is the cooler output and one at the rear of the main case which is the return. They are both right above the pan rail on the drivers side.

Thank you. Do you know the torque setting on the pan bolts. I found in a TSB that they were 13.6 Nm (125 in. lbs.), does that sound correct?

Not offhand, I just snug them until it feels right.

Got'er done.
Time to go watch the earlier recorded Bud Shootout.
Thanks again.

The link in post #2 will take you to the part and the part number is there in the description. Is that what you mean?
