torque converter exploded!!
I can imagine the Crazy Larry setting on the Triple Dog may have helped to accelerate the situation. Did you happen to have a trans temp gauge? I wonder if it was slipping generating excessive heat... Is your truck under warranty, or better yet, is the dealership going to honor the warranty if it is? Find alot of dealers will not touch a truck once they plug and and see the ignition cycles zeroed out by the Bully Dog...
Or was the oil so hot and foamy in the torque converter as to give a false reading on the dipstick?
It may have not been filled properly when serviced.
And did the oil get so hot as to push it out the dipstick tube?
That would explain the oil on the ground
Many trucks up here in the mines (gas chevs)have burnt to the ground from that very thing.
The oil starts boiling and then pushes out the dipstick tube onto the hot manifold and poof!

My truck has 94,000 and the warranty according to them is 70,000 on the trans. So no help from the warranty. I have not used the Crazy Larry since the first time I installed it. I only used it once just to see how it was and it was awesome but i did not have the big turbo or extra fuel so I never used it again. I had my Triple dog updated and I do not have Crazy Larry anymore. They have never given me any hassels at the dealership because of the Triple Dog. They replaced two injectors under warranty and never mentioned the Triple Dog. Katy Dodge is a great group to deal with. They will even install after market equipment for you such as gauges, shift kits, FASS fuel systems ect.
Leave it to the dealership to tell someone their TC exploded!
I would like to see a pic of that as well. I know you cant give us one cause its probally BS. I would try to get a second look on that by someone else man. Just my .02

Sounds like the dealership you are using has been more than helpful in the past. I also would ask to see what they are talkng about, but in all honesty, with the help they have given you in the past, I would have a hard time thinking they were trying to get something by you.
I saw the torque converter when I picked up my truck. It had a crack in the seam and you could shake it and it rattled like it had marbles in it. They are a good group. They put new bands, clutches and valve body in also to make sure nothing was damaged. I took it in on Saturday evening at 7.00 pm and they had my truck ready to go at 3:00 on Monday. Great Service and they will take you to the back show you what they are doing, give you lessons on how to read they diagnostic equipment. They are by far the most honest guys I have every dealt with in the auto repair industry. I'm old so I have dealt with many.
