thruen steering
i was wondering if anybody that uses their truck in the winter could tell me if this steering will hold up to the climate?
i am looking at this steering and wonder if its DOT, and how well it works with our great weather, snow and salt.
i am going to be putting in a 5" lift and though this might be a good up grade to our crappy stock steering.

I discussed this very issue with Don Thuren. Being that I live in Chicago and they use way too much salt during winter months, he advised me to go with the upgraded Dodge steering setup instead of his. I did purchase his adjustable track bar. You've got to give credit to a guy who speaks the truth even if it means he won't make as much money. He'll have my business for a long time.
i was wondering about the heim joints, as i run them on my rock crawler, they don't look like they will like the tons and tons of salt they use where i live in the winter months.
it looks like a very nice set up though.
