I was wondering can I remove the cat from my new 600, will it be any louder, how about mileage, and will an engine light come on????

 

I dont know about any of the things you mentioned, but one thing you will get is a huge fine if you are caught doing it. You would be better off replacing your muffler with a nice aftermarket one.

Shhhhh...... Don't get caught.

No the CEL will not come on, should be a bit louder but not too much, and when it get's plugged the mileage will go down along with the performance. Not to mention that the exhaust smells like an old propane forklift not a diesel truck.

And if your worried about the cat ****'s, just gut it, leave it in place and tell no one.
