Unhappy stick shift

just want ur 2 cents on the 6 shooter over the auto 48re
i want to chip the truck and just want to know what will stand up better to a moderate chip thanks

Since the 48RE hasn't been out for very long, my vote is for the 6-speed. The NVG5600 has shown to be pretty near bulletproof and a clutch won't cost too much if you smoke it.

Take a test drive with both trannies. The 6spd will probably have a much longer life span than the auto, especially if you're planning to add more HP.
