Speedometer Recalibration on an 06

Someone tell me again what sizes DC can adjust to now. Secondly, I tried emailing Bullydog on their recalibration product that's advertised in the newest Diesel Power mag, with no response yet. Any thoughts
thanks Jamie

right but I had heard that the size could be adj. up or down one size. Just want to be sure so I don't get smoke up the rear when I talk to me service writer at my dealership.
thanks Jamie

Let us know if you hear from BullyDog on the calibration tool. I looked on their web site, but it's not on there. I'd be interested, if it's not too much $$$!

Called BD today and spoke with Andrew in sales. How much does it cost... don't know yet. Will it be able to calibrate the 06 Dogde Diesels... don't know. Is it available... Not yet maybe by the end of May. How much will it cost... Don't know yet. Well they're advertising it in the Diesel Power mag... I know but it's not out yet...Sorry.
Ok thanks by.

that's about how it went. All this after 10 min of being on hold.

From what I've heard the Tire tool from Bully Dog should be out at the end of them month. Its going to be an option for Bully Dog Dealers to buy and sale at what ever price they think is right for them. Only takes like 5-10 Mins, but you will have to find a dealer that has the tool to have the work done. But im sure its going to cost over $60 to get it done.

That right there is Bully Dog getting stupid. A tire size calibration isn't worth $60, let alone $600!

For me, there's no benefit from the calibration. I know how fast I'm going (within a couple MPH) with a quick glance to the speedo and a quick calc in the head. The odometer is off, but in my favor. And I haven't noticed any weird tranny shifting since the tire change.

Some other threads on this subject mention that you should be able to have a 2006 recalibrated to 285/70 - 17 because the Power Wagon is equipped with that size.

This is true. The problems start when you go taller than 285/70-17s.
