I'm not ready to get a tunner for my truck so I'm thinking about just taking her to the dealer to have the speedo adjusted for my bigger tires. How far can the dealer go as far as the tire height.I know when we set things on the Benzes here we only have a few options.And what is a reasonable charge.I would guess 1/2 hour labor.

I hear and read the dealer can go up to the 285's, same tire size on the PW

 

Trucks 2006 and up can only be done to 285's w/ the dealer. A programmer is really your only choice. If you are not interested in the power then Pro Comp makes a programmer just for tire recal, code reader and few other things for $200-$300.

Also my dealer charged me $80 to reflash my ABS for my 35" tires.

 

My dealer wanted $35.00.....about 1/2 hr charge. I waited till I got a Smarty.
