Have a 03, with 108,000, but around 86000 one day while at stop light and in the yard at idle, the engine would suddenly shiver and shake like it was going to die, then revup to 1000 smooth out and come back to idle and repeat.. Then would not do it again for awhile or that day,, or week then would maybe do it all day,, only at idle,, no problem above idle,, or power,, not fuel filter or lift pump already checked that and No Codes.. Got any ideas

I have an '03 with 76,500 miles and it has done something similiar at idle a couple of times but it's been over 6 months since it's happened. It acts like it stumbles or starves for fuel for a second and when it comes back it revs up and then returns to a normal idle. I kind of think it was fuel related.

 

You saw my post with my O3 dodge with 108,000,, I'm still having the problem want to solve it.. Did you solve yours Someone said it might be the throttle module control??

Could be a sticking relief valve inside the CP3 pump. Try running a heavy dose of diesel injection cleaner through the fuel system.
