Rev Limiter?

Does my 2003 HO 6 Spd have a rev limiter?
How high is too high?
Red marks on the Tach start at 3200 RPM

Have seen it go as high as 3500 PRM before I realized.
Still getting used to driving a Diesel.

Re:Rev Limiter?

Your truck has four idles.

"Hot" Idle, which is approximately 800RPM
"Cold" idle which is ~1,000RPM
High Idle, full load ~3,200RPM
High Idle No Load, ~3,500RPM

That is assuming the ISB-e 24V is the same as the ISB 24V.

I spin my 12V to 3,500RPM daily, and 4,000RPM at the track.

I spin my 24V to 3,700RPM (But I think I had a wak cylinder from factory as it always had an odd vibration, unlike my silky 12V)
