Ditto... The "on off" 3x thing does not work on the 06. Just gives you "donE"

Does anyone make a code reader/clearing box for the 2006 that does not cost an arm and a leg?

Gas cap and other stupid crap should get cleared so if you get a real CEL you can get the issue fixed.

I would hate to be driving around thinking it's a minor BS CEL when it's really not!

Drove to my dealer after making an appointment to get my CEL read drove the 45 minutes ... To only find out their scan tool has been broken for a week!

what a waste of MY time and MY fuel!

Tried the OBD II last night and couldn't access anything. Anyone know what dealers are using on the 06's.

If you are getting "done" that means there are NO codes to display.

I think they use a DRB II at the dealer ($)

I thought that I read that the DRB doesn't work on the 06's; that they had to use the StarScan or something?

When my CEL came on I went to an Auto Zone. I wanted to see of one of their readers could read & clear a CEL. It did and I bought it. It was an Actron Auto Scanner CP9153. It was around $100. I was about to go on a trip and wanted to see if the light was critical or not. It turned out to be the air temperature rational code, it is worth it in my opinion.

Could the unit you bought possibly be a CP9135? I tried to locate a CP9153 and all I could find was the CP9135. Thanks for your help!

3X on/off will retrieve codes for an '06 fine - i just did it to see if it would work and it did. And what do you know - i had two of them. Checked with my Attitude and there they were same as the dash read:

P0513 - INVALID SKIM KEY
P0069 - MAP/BARO Correlation

So what do these mean?

P.S. - being able to retrieve and clear codes with the Edge sure is a nice feature. Well worth the money.

Well on my 06 I did the 3x on and off and got DonE with no codes but had the CEL light on... Dealer pulled 2 codes. He told me the 3x on and off will not work for an 06. He cleared them and they have not re appeared. (fan speed and a rail pressure code)

Sorry about the AutoScanner Tom282, it is the CP9135 . I just got back from China and just now getting my sleep back. . Just reset the codes for the air rational & battery temperature. Seems to happen in Spring & Fall for me.

Kevin, thanks so much for the reply! I'm showing 2 error codes right now, one being a P0111 which is a "Intake Air Temperature Circuit Range/Performance Problem", and a P0514, which is not listed on this site.http://www.troublecodes.net/OBD2/Pcodes.shtml#500

I saw the unit you have on ebay for $89.00, and that seems like a good price. Sure beats a 85 mile round trip to the dealer if these are only nuisance codes!

Thanks again for the reply! I hope your China trip went well!

The P0514 code is the battery temperature rational. It seems to trip when ever there is a big change in temperature overnight. Usually it has happened in the spring & fall. The other code I have gotten is 0071 ( Ambient air temperature rational).
