Slippage indicated by engine flare, usually means clutch or line pressure problems. What trans and year? 68RFE? AS68RC? Might want to have pressure test before condeming the tq converter.

I checked line pressure's before I took anything out. Everything was within spec. Like I said, there were NO issues with the trans, or stock converter before I replaced the converter with this aftermarket unit.

Did company give specs on tq converter stall speed RPM? Stall speed will change depending on weight and HP of truck. Also when we install Billeted tq we replace band with kevlar and input shaft with billet shaft.

Did you check the fluid level after install and after running thru the gears while parked? Are you sure the torque convertor is fully seated - i think it ratchets in twice.

I was told if you go to a low stall TQ that its also a good idea to install a High Pressure Valve Body.

That still tells us absolutely nothing about the alleged problem. You might get some help if you described what you think is wrong.
