the tag in my glovebox says I have a 3:55 rear end, but I spun the driveshaft a hair over 4 turns to make the tire spin one time.even though the tag says 3:55 do I have a 4:10 rear end?if so why does the tag say 3:55 ?

NO 3.55s used in third generations.Only 3.73s or 4.10s

 

What else does the glove box sticker say. Is the other data listed correct or not. You should be able to take the VIN # to the dealer and have them run it to find out all pertinent info.

 

The dealer service dept or sales can run vin and print info.Its called the BUILD SHEET and is needed to order interior trim parts etc.Shows gearing/radio/interior colors/body colors etc.
