Raptor RP-100 install

Hi-I've been worried about my filter installed lift pump for some time following posts on this and other sites about the failure rates of this pump and bought a Raptor 100---2 years ago!! I've always intended to install it myself, but even reading several of the posts, complete with pictures, or people who have done it, and watching YouTube videos, I finally decided it was not in my skill set to do this so I took it to my friendly diesel mechanic this am and for $271 he put it on. My butt dyno says the truck runs better(I hadn't been aware previously of any problems) but I recognize that this could be placebo as I feel it runs better after I change the oils and filters too.
This truck has been great, and this was the only item I've fretted about and given the good results others have had, I'm hopeful I will be just doing routine maintenance from now on barring any unforeseen tragedy.
Thanks - Bill
