Is boring a 5.9 "0.010 overbore and using corresponding new pistons a thing? I don't see "0.010 overbore pistons anywhere. It seems to be only "0.020 and "0.040 being common for over bore rebuilds on the 5.9.

It's a detail I didn't catch when I was reading through some invoices on a simple rebuild job that the guy is 30 WEEKS into. Letting it drag out this long is not entirely on him. Anyway, I'm at that point where I'm combing through texts messages from last summer. Yeah. lol The trust has dwindled so I'm doing a lot of verifying. Anyway, that's the mechanical detail that sticks out as off base to me. Other costs and comments seem to track pretty well for the nature of the job. The plan is to meet him this morning to inspect the block and head to verify if any work has even been done.

For some context I broke the truck 7 yrs ago this month so I have settled into a relaxed attitude towards fixing it and that's played out in this rebuild job I had started last summer when I discovered I had dropped a valve seat in my 2004 truck. The longer timeline didn't bother me until late last year when things should have been wrapping up mid november based on his communication about the different machine shops completing certain stages of work and when parts were due to arrive.
