Quadzilla display & service engine light question

I just finished installing the Quadzilla Commander on my 05, 3500, cummins. The display stays on all of the time. Also, now the check engine light is on. Any ideas on how to fix these?

Also how do you get the fault codes to display and where are they?

What did you tap into for power? Sounds like it's a constant hot. And with just about everything being computer controlled these days that could be causing the CEL.

Double check all of your connections too. Check codes. probably the MAP sensor connector. Seems to be a common trouble spot! As for the display staying on, probably just tapped the wrong fuse. Needs to be one with ignition power only.

I would guess the CEL, and the Comander staying on are your same issue.
The commander gets its power from the dash lights fuse.
I guess you tapped into the wrong fuse.

Mine is tapped into #28 a 10 amp. Commander only comes on when key is on. I would pull the fuse and check the plug with a test light just to make sure it is only hot with the key on.

I found I had not fuse #28 I was looking at the schematic wrong. Tapped the real #28 and all is well. Thank's to all of you. This web site sure saves me a lot of money in repairs. But it really costs me buying toy's for the truck
