I have an 04.5 2500 and it has an mbrp exaust, afe cold air, fast lift pump, and a bullydog power pup on towing setting, the problem I had was my truck all of the sudden at about half throttle it would fall on its face and blow black smoke out, then as soon as you backed off it returned to normal. I filled up at shell as I usually do but have not in a few weeks. so I stopped at the auto parts store and bought a new fuel filter and drained the fuel filter water drain, and took the bullydog off and returned it to stock settings, and now it runs fine.I have had the bullydog on it for a month and it has ran fine until now, I am puzzled, do you think it was the fuel filter or the bullydog.the fuel filter was replaced only a month ago.
