Power Steering Fluid everywhere

Truck fan started coming on the other day when on the highway. Pulled over because it shouldn't be coming on in the winter sure enough I had a hose off of my radiator so I fixed that. Checked the engine a little later and there was power steering fluid everywhere. Looked could not find a leak. Drove it around the block turning as much as I could no leak. Drove a longer distance on the highway and the leak sprayed the engine again. Can't find the leak and can't think of a reason why the leak wouldn't show up when the truck is idling and the wheel is being turned left and right. The truck is also starting to run hot again.

those vintage were famous for bad p/s hoses and pump seals. my friend has had 1 hose and 2 seals done. makes a mess, over heated because the belt was contaminated and slipping.

Hate to bring this back up, BUT I am having the same problem. What did you end up doing to fix the problem? CAn't make it leak, even revving the engine up and turning the wheel wont make it. Drive it on the highway and I have a substantial leak! Thanks for any help will be appreciated.

get a couple of cans of break parts cleaner and clean off all connections to the power steering pump, my leak was high up on the break assist about 3 inches from the firewall and about 4 inches down from hood, 10 cent o ring
