Post-high pressure pump filter

I am new to diesels and in my gas world i always put a filter pre pump and post pump...

can I/should I put a filter between the pump and the rail?

Using the goggle and digging hard in forums-I cant find commentary on a post pump high pressure filter.

Goggle led me to a NORMAN filter that can handle 30,000 psi at 5.5gpm-well within pressure range with enough flow.

but i dont see other options.

is this a thing?

am I being obsessive?-be nice-

i bought a 2005 dually with nv5600 and i did start it to drive it on the trailer but i dont want to drive it or start it till i swap injectors(keeping it stock) and oil change and a bunch of other CYA stuff.

its got 200,000 miles and has codes for every injector.

betting DPO id minimal maintenance at best and probably some sort of tuner and run the loud pedal all day long.

im ignoring the condition of the clutch even though it felt good.

I plan to tow with it and probably heavy...

I think you would be best to avoid a filter on the high side and simply make sure it gets clean fuel to the low side.

The CP3 high pressure pump is not as failure prone as the much later CP4 high pressure pumps. (check what one you have. I believe it to be CP3)
The later CP4 high pressure pumps blow crap through the system taking everything out when they fail....

I'm going through injector replacement myself at the moment. I had everything tested yesterday and that appears to have caused the injectors to have finally failed on my truck 290,000km (180197miles)
Blowing too much overflow fuel back to the fuel filter. I'm guessing not building rail pressure.

Thanks

I did look and hadnt seen people doing it after pump-kinda figured it wasnt a 'thing' especially since the goggle didnt bombard me with tons of ads for sellers who sold kits.

I DID find one filter that appears capable of doing the job.

supports 30,000 with max at 45,000, has down to optional 0.5 micron up to 30 micron, AN in/out fittings(or hyd fittings to handle pressure)

I so far havnt been able to get a price but it looks like at this point-im just gonna get a good pre-pump filter and deal with it.
