Looked through my service book again and I still didn't see any mention of California only for Schedule B. Must be something they changed in 05.

The difeence was for the SO engines not necessarily CA engines. Since there are no more SO's you won't find any in in your manuals.

Took mine in once for an oil change, they put 14 quarts in and then tried to tell me I was wrong to say it took 12! Changing my own oil now.

I used e-bay. It came from a dealer obviously but there was no haggeling. $7500 off MSRP and 650 miles of trailered delivery. My local dealer is spelled O-S-C-A-R M-E-Y-E-R ("Wiener" in other words)... Found more BS there than back home in the cow pin.
