Please help this girl out ..
I have an 07 5.9 Cummins... she's an older girl with 305.000 KM! Lately she's been "off".
I live on Vancouver island (Canada) doesn't get cold, the lowest will be about 0 degrees but I've noticed when I fire it up cold in the morning She has a bit of a stumble while idling, and a slight pop at the tailpipe. I've also recently straight piped it would that cause the popping ?... you can sometimes feel the stumble while driving and there's also some ****** up thing going on with my transmission when in over drive, it sounds like a slip but my RPM gage doesn't move when these hesitations happen. I can still accelerate but roughly with a hesitation and vibration until it kicks itself out of overdrive. ?? Any thoughts, I know my description sucks but it's the best way I can describe it... it was fine before, new parts that have been replaced prior to these issues happening is a cam shaft position sensor, and when I first bought the truck back in June it needed a torque converter. But the most recent one is the sensor.

Sounds like injector I would try some injector cleaner first. Replace the fuel filter and check air filter and replace if dirty. Valve adjust if never done and Check oil level if over full then you have leaking injector that needs to be replaced ASAP.
If it's noticeable, and you can video it, someone here can diagnose it, I'm sure. There's a lot of fart smellas here.... (OOPs !... got that backwards)
Smart Fellas here...... and they've helped many before with the video alone...

Mine had a little stumble as well when cold. I replaced my fuel filter and after I put the new one in I filled up the filter housing with SeaFoam. Took almost two cans. I ran the motor for 2 minutes and then let it soak for 15 minutes. You then drive it for 30 minutes and try to drive it hard. After that no more stumble. Dirty injector and SeaFoam cleaned it right up.
