Don't forget that Amsoil has 3 filter styles. You can get an offline type filter with the by-pass by itself BMK 11, you can and you can get the dual remote that combines the bypass and the full flow, and lastly you can get the Dual Guard which is 2 side-by-side by-pass filters designed for Heavy duty diesels with sumps over 9 gallons.

Also don't foget as a sponsor I have special pricing for members on here.

I believe Donaldson makes bypass filters for the Cummins.

Premo bypass filter

We use the Premo by-pass filter which has a spin on 3 micron absolute filter to filter the oil plean and then passes the clean oil over a heated ramp to evaporate liquid contaminates. Here is some information about this system http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/premo

Well for the past 14 years my company has been running www.puradyn.com filters with great results. I had one 8.3 cummins in a Ford L8000 dump truck that ran 470,000 miles without an oil change. I have run them on all my CTD's. I am having a problem locating a place to install one on my 2003. It appears that the Amsoil bypass single element filter can be located alot easier because it unscrews and can be removed from above or below and the puradyn loads from the top and is 8" across.
