P1246 and C2100

I had the 2146 code come up on my truck about 3 years ago. Ran like crap, no power, wouldn't accelerate. Cleared the code, never came back. Until today. Wife had the truck this morning, called me and said the truck started bucking and shuddering, with the CEL on. I talked her through retrieving the codes, and how to clear them. Two miles later CEL was back on. At this point I decided to make a roadside assistance trip. Got to the truck 45 minutes later, sure enough, the 2146 code was back, along with the C2100. I cleared the codes again, and started home. Drove all day without missing a beat. Do I roll the dice and hope it doesn't come back, or is this the warning of worse things to come? I checked the battery connections, other than a LITTLE white crust on the neg terminal they were clean and tight. Opinions?

Possible injector or valve cover gasket wiring to injectors resistance. get out your ohm meter and start checking wiring and injector resistance. Injectors 1,2,3 should all read the same if not the injector with the highest resistance is the culprit. Pretty common for the wires to injector to break loose from the valve cover pass thru connection. Just a small spot well holds wire to connector pass thru in valve cover gasket. New gasket has been updated so this will not be issue any longer. Problem area circled in red

What terminals go to what injector? Any other ideas as to what might be the issue? Got any ideas as to the other code?

Pull the valve cover then unplug the 2 harness connectors. Trace the wires out from each injector out to connector, check the resistance on each wire, then check resistance of each injector. Should have .2 ohms each injector should be about the same for each injector. Wire should have 0 ohms or no resistance at all. Wiggle the wires make sure the resistance doesn't change. C2100 low voltage detected, check batteries and connections.
