Overhead computer question

Question Overhead computer question

I am looking ro install a leveling kit with 315's. If i have dodge re cal the speedo for the new tires, will the overhead computer recal as well for fuel milage and the odometer and such?

Yes. But the overhead may still be off ( not accurate ) if it is off currently.

Last I knew, Dodge won't calibrate bigger then 33's...

If you have a Smarty you can reprogram the tire height yourself. But I doubt it will correct the overhead

If Smarty modifies the tire size, the computer will use the new values for it's fuel mileage calculation...

jmlcolorado has a 2003 model truck....the dealer can go in and modify the tire revolutions per mile thru the pinion factor / abs section.

wow. they can do anytthing with computers now days!! kinda miss the old school stuff sometimes though.
