Ordering Supplies

Has anyone found a supplier they can order a case or two of Fleetgaurd Stratopore Filters from? Is there enough cost savings to be worth ordering the quantities? What about the oil, has anyone bought this in a larger quantity than a couple of gallons at a time?

Have you tried your local Cummins parts house?
That's where I buy all my stuff.

Have you checked Geno's Garage for the filters? www.genosgarage.com

I think the only way to really save on oil in bulk is to buy a 55 gallon drum. I was at Tractor Supply yesterday and noticed they had Rotella 15W-40 in 5 gallon buckets but you didn't save more than a few bucks.

I buy all of my filters from Geno's....specifically I bought the 4/2/1 package....4 oil filters, 2 fuel filters, and 1 air filter....all the filters you need for a 30,000 mile interval (at least if you're going by the manual). Pretty good deal for $82.

None of the oil was at all cheap at Tractor Supply. The house brand, even in two gallon containers, was more expensive than Rotella. The 5 gallon pail of Rotella was barely less than buying five 1 gallon containers.

Re:Ordering Supplies

I find Costco or Sam's club has the best price on oil Costco sells Delo 400 and Sams club sells delvac 1300 for about 25 bucks for 6 gallons.

Cummins shops sell the filters for more than Geno's only a good deal if you need less than 4. If you buy in quanity Geno's has the best deal shipping is more attractive with larger orders. BTW those oil filter are heavy. Fuel filters are the best deal at Cummins cheaper than Geno's same part #. Air filters are cheaper at my Dealer than Geno's Garage plus I usually get a coupon for additional 15% in the mail bi-monthly from my local dealer.
