bought and gave away a used "cool-down timer" few years ago, and got it back, guy never used it. no instructions.

It consists of a hot wire, ground wire, a signal wire, and fuse taps for each wire. For the power source to the box, I used the #6 fuse on the fuse block which is hot at all times. For the

signal wire (blue), fuse #13 should be used for 89-91 models and fuse #3 is used for 92-93 model trucks. This wire is what will deliver power to the fuel shutoff solenoid after the ignition has been turned off. For the

if I remember right the green on my 01 went to the Ebrake switch...so if the truck was running and u pulled the Ebrake (off) it would kill the truck

 

nah, this one ain't that complicated.

it's simply a 12v "egg timer"

guess i will put it in the classifieds for a 1st Gen guy.
