FYI, on the speedometer accuracy I checked mine from 30 mph - 85 mph with a GPS unit and it was right on the money.

If the Dodge is an idiot gage, they sure went to a lot of trouble to make it simulate a real one. Mine reads, just like a real gage would, higher oil pressure under conditions of a.) low engine temp and b.) at higher rpms. My Ford, OTOH, reads dead in the middle, all the time. Doesn't matter what weight of oil, temperature, or rpm. That is what I call an idiot gage.

It is fake, believe me. The programming to make the needle move around in the range depending on temperature and RPM can be accomplished in 1 or 2 lines of code.

On my '99 the voltmeter gage is fairly accurate. When I converted the charging system to the external regulator I checked at several voltages. With my current setup it regulates at 13.85 volts the gage reads just a sliver under or right on 14 volts. I will be checking the oil pressure for accuracy, and I will be installing a temperature gage, mechanical. When I siezed the piston the temperature gage never went over the safe margin, so it must be inaccurate.
