NV5600 Is Notchy WHen Cold

It's actually always a little notch, but definately worst when cold. The 2-3 & 3-4 shift are definately worse than the 4-5 & 5-6. Double clutching does not really seem to make a differance. I shift slow & easy because I don't want to tear it up. When it warms up, I'll probably change the tranny fluid.

Does this sound normal? How many of you guys/gals have a notchy NV5600?

Mine is notchy when cold. Really noticeable at 40 degrees and lower. Even with Amsoil MTF for the lube. Once it warms up all is fine.

I've got new oil in it, and when the temps were in the single digits, the first 2-3 shift is sticky, then it gets better.

Yeah both of my 03's have been like that. Once it warms up it's always been fine.
