What happened to cause a new motor to be the solution? I just got my 04.5 back from the dealer after they fixed a dead lift pump, with the new in tank pumps they are now putting in the 05's.. 23k miles and it went out on me.

Hope it don't fall off those jack stands. Should run fine once they're done with it by the way gas gauge work mind don't since new has been in the dealership for times for this problem. Other than that runs fine sense I changed that exhaust and air cleaner no white smoke. By a foreign truck no way . It's Dodge all the way no matter what I have to put up with even the dealership.

Ugh...your truck is made in Mexico by a German owned company. So its pretty foreign. At least its engine is made in Columbus, IN.

Ford trucks are the most domestic. Built in Louisville with International engines. But it is a Ford...

It looks like its at a dealership. Looks like a service counter in the background with a dodge banner and it looks like the mechanic has one of those generic Dodge shirts on too.

and the Toyota will have a high percentage of north american content and probably built in a free trade zone in Mexico/USA/Canada.

It would be a perfect time to slip that old convertor off and slide in a new billet triple lock...

Sorry to hear about you engine, just remember that this is a very rare occurance. I wonder why they wouldn't just put in a entire assy (long block). I wouldn't like the idea of them swapping the head over to the new block instead of having the "C" factory do it...

Good luck,
