Text Just purchased a 03 CTD 3500 4x4 Qc,4A,3.73s ls. I really love it but I'm worried about the recall on the trans. Mine is included in it. I'm waiting for parts. : I already have brought it back for gear oil smell "Nothing found" quote< and leaking front windshield, new carpet is comming in next week. So far my expirience has not been fulfilling, anyone else feel this way?

I guess the good thing is none of 'em are catastrophic (e.g., a major component keeping your rig from functioning). I have not been here long myself but a great bunch of guys and information.<br><br>Make sure you document every problem.<br><br>Hope that DC takes care of it soon and gets you back to enjoyment. I have owned two Dodge diesels since 1989 and have been trouble free. Going for my third one now.<br><br>Good luck and keep us posted.

 

Hi Utah! Do you have any clearance problems with your 315s? I wanted to get a beefier tire myself.

 

Hey FireNhole. ;D<br><br>Nope - no tire clearance problems. I think 2 other members here have also installed the 315's as well.<br><br>I had 35's on my 2 prior (Gen 2) Rams and needed the 2&quot; leveling kit for 'em. On the '03, I did not need the leveling kit for tire clearance - but ended up putting it on anyway, just for that bigger 4x4 look.<br><br>Best to y'all<br>Bill
