High idle is a dealer enabled option. Most dealers do NOT charge to enable it.
I would ask for it to be done after you do the inspection, while you are waiting for the paperwork and so on.
I had mine re-done after they did a flash in June; took <1/2hr on a saturday.
By the way...Whatever you find wrong with the truck, point it out to the salesman and have THEM document that it was pre-existing and will be fixed by the dealership (probably paid for by DC).
Enjoy the truck & let us know how it goes!

OK, so I picked it up last saturday and all I can say is wow...
My brother and I could not find a thing wrong with the truck. I had the rear wheel fender liners installed - hopefully they are worth the $130 added to the sticker.
We drove into Montana to see my folks and experienced a typical winter storm with temps as low as 2F and as hi as 25F. I expected some problems on the first start on those cold mornings, but it fired right up. We also climbed a rather nasty hill covered in a foot of fresh powder to see some recently acquired property and it was great having that low gear in four wheel drive. The limited slip rear diff worked well in conjunction with 4x4 and for street tires, I had pretty good grip.
The zero throttle launch feature will take some getting used to as I have a habit of stepping on the brake, but not coming to a full stop when pulling into and out of driveways. I can already see where the feature will be useful when towing my travel trailer. Maybe this weekend I'll go grab my travel trailer and take a few hills just to get an idea
Some places in Montana still had the LSD stickers on the pumps whereas Wahsington and Oregon all had the ULSD stickers.
