Max Safe EGT's

What are the max safe EGT's for a 2003 H.O.? I can get up to 1400 pretty quick with my SMARTY. Maybe a turbo would help, does anyone have a similar setup with their truck that could help me out with what turbo to look at. I live a mile above sea level so it needs to spool fairly quick with manageable EGT's.

For all but the longest sustained pulls, I'd feel OK pushing 1400 in that truck.

The newer the truck, the hotter the peak EGT it can stand.

Cummins spec calls for a max of 1450 degrees turbo inlet temp.
