manafold heater not working

manafold heater not working

i have a 2007 dodge 2500 w 5.9 one week after buying it the manafold heater stopped working, the wait to start light does not come on and its about 40f outside opened hood i had power to the big post from the battery to the relay pulled the two little wires off and turned the key to check for power and had nothing any ideas? does the intake temp sensor run thru the power sys of the relay. any help would be great thanks

On my '06, I'd look at fuse 28, 42, and the fusible link (red w/yellow stripe)running from the battery to the heater relay. You've got the ECM involved too, but these would be the quick and fast checks.

I don't think they even come on when it's that warm out son.... this ain't no FORD.

mine wpnt come on if its thats warm it comes on when its right about 30

thanks i will check these fuses out and report back, as far as not cold enough i thought it was 55f or something, since the manafold heater quit at cold start it idles rough
