From: In Oroville, Ca., same house for past 46 yrs!
My friend across the street has an aluminum pan with a drain plug (brass I think) bulkhead fitting in the bottom that sticks up about a 1/4" to 5/16" and his donut magnet fits right over the top of it and doesn't move around.
