lug torque specs for aluminum wheels?

I`m rotating my tires, and am wondering what the torque specs are? And is it the same for aluminum and steel wheels? I have the stock aluminum wheels. Thanks.

My owners manual states 125-150 ft/lbs. I torque mine to 135 ft/lbs. It doesn't matter if the wheel is steel or aluminum. The torque is determined by the thread size which is 9/16".

150. You can always take off a slightly overtightned lug nut but your SOL if they start spinning off.

Thanks guys, I torqued them down to 125, but maybe I should take it up a bit.

I have my aluminum Weld rims at 135, per the dealer and manual. No problems, but I would check them after you heat the tires up to make sure your still at 135.
