looking for anyone using schaeffers ATF
I am a Schaeffer dealer but I don't have anyone using the ATF... I am interested to find out myself.
I just had my tranny rebuilt by the dealer and I want to use it next round.

your 2004.5 trans?? if so - why the rebuild??
what oil you using - the 7000 or 9000??
ps: I just changed to the 204sAT! One thing is that it is a syn blend not a true full syn ATF.. DC states using a ATF-4 (mopar being full syn).. Tim Holt is giving me a little bit a hard time not using ATF-4 fld.. But he did state he would use the AMSOIL ATF if not the MOPAR stuff!
I stated that my trans seemed to be smoother but did have the firm shift point in 3/overdrive. The schaeffers stuff did drop my temps 10 - 30+ degrees.. But TIm stated a smoother shift is not a good thing in this trans - it means the clucthes are slipping/etc.. I have done some WOT runs around the block and the RPM does not "seem" to slip/reave up - the tires grab, etc, etc.. it see just when putting around that the trans seem to shift smoother..
I am just starting to wonder about using some certified ATF-4 stuff.. Valvoline is the only one right now that as service certified.. Other will follow..
Can you honestly tell me that the schaeffers 204 has the ATF-4 spec's in it?? On another note - I was told that the ATF-4 is the same as the ATF-3 but as a full syn fld?? (on bob is the oil guy webpage)
