Looking for a 4BT

Hey guys,
My 13yr old son bought a 54 M37 and now he wants to swap out the flat head and swap in a 4BT and a NV4500. Any body have a line on 4BTs?
Thanks,
Topper

Try http://4btswaps.com/forum/index.php

They'll have all sorts of sources. Most seem to be old bread or frito-lay trucks.

Thanks Tony!
D45,
As far as purchasing I don't know of any law forbidding an one from purchasing a vehicle. He obviously can't register it or drive it until he is of age but why can't he buy it. It's his money and he wanted to buy a M37 so why not... As far as where he gets his money he gets it the old fashioned way ... HE EARNS IT! The kid has been working summers and weekends since he was 10 yrs old. He has saved about $30,000. Which to do what he wants to do to this truck he's probably be broke when he is old enough to drive the thing!
See ya,
Topper

Topper, hug your boy once extra tonight.

You have no idea how special that kid is..........

As for a 4BT, you have the website above, and there is a seller on Ebay from NY who usually has one on there.

might want to remove that link, or remove the audio at least......... ebay and craigslist are my favorite finding tools lately, anyone in a forum based site might tend to want a lil more for what they have figuring a targeted audience.

Thanks guys!
patdaly,
Trust me my friend I know exactly how lucky I am. When I say he's been working I mean welding, running loaders, skid steers and lulls for our company. We take out old concrete block plants and send them all over the world and this kid is the hardest worker I've got. We also have a fab/welding company and he runs every piece of equipment in the shop.
See ya,
Topper

would love to see pictures of his swap when he is done. Wonder what kinda mileage you could squeeze out of them, I don't know much about them are they all 8 valves or did they make some in a 16 valve configuration.

I'll keep ya posted. This is going to be a long project. If there is interest there will be plenty of pics and write ups.
