LED Lights on rear need help

LED Lights on rear need help

Ok need help I installed LED rear lights on the back of my western hauler style bed the incondesant lights keep burning out ,well this set off a new problem since the LEDS use so little power the turn signals flash 100 mph so can anyone help me get my blinkers flashing slower like normal would be very much apreciated it drives me up the wall to see them flash so fast but I like the look of the LED lights on the rear of my truck.

they make a capaciter i think its is we get them where we buy our lights and you wire it in with the lite and its slows them back to normal

I believe you will have to put a resistor in line with the blinker + feed to trick the flasher into thinking it has a regular bulb there. I am not sure what resistance you will need.

i don't think a resistor will work since it just cuts power. what you need is a load equalizer. it's just a box that draws power like a regular light bulb. They make these and this is common for LEDs. they are like 20 bucks, just get a box and put it in line of your lights somewhere.
