Leak i CANT find!

READ MY 3rd post. Can the CCV leak without running?

Well i checked my oil the other morning and it looked to be about 1-2 quarts high on the stick. well i always do a oil change with 12 quarts and a filter, and i check it after and it always seems perfect after i change it. well the oil has no smell or look of diesel on the garage floor or on the stick, just black oil. i checked it today and the stick said it was fine,

well my problem here is that i hit a curb trying to swerve for a deer and blew out my steering box, rim and tire, and had to get a alignment. my tie rods, u joints and ball joints are all fine and main hub bearings have no play. so i took a look under today and noticed that i think i dented the pan with the front axle. im pretty furious in the first place they would have the pan even close to that close to the axle. i sprayed everything underneath with brake cleaner to make it all nice and clean ill try to pin point it but other than the pan the ccv may be spitting it out? there was some oil on the tranny pan and tc cover.

well i have ruled out the oil pan. the dent from the front axle is not making it leak. but i let it sit over night and completely cleaned everything and there was oil this morning coming from over top of the pumpkin draining down? my last guess after looking under the **** thing for a hour is the CCV? but why would it leak without running?

my blow by tube directs a little oil onto the pumpkin, if theres not a puddle its probably fine...
