I was the victim, just thought I'd share this, even tho it was a 1500. I was in a loaner car, a Jag 2004 X-type. Pulled up to a light next to a new SL500 benz, and a black 1500 with the hemi pulled up. We all put the hammer down, mine was floored, the SL engine was screaming. The HEMI KILLED US! It was hilarious, I couldn't help but smile and give the guy a thumbs up. The sl owner was clearly upset. LMAO!

Watch out for those Benz's. There's one (I forget what it is but it's a 4 door sedan) that run's 12.5's in the 1/4. And it's a non AMG.

 

I bet the moderator folk will be moving this after its audited.

 

BigBlue - the S600 and sl600 are non amg models with v12's. They will move, I believe about 469 hp! 8) They also cost about the same as 5 Rams

 

You know, a kill's NOT a kill if both parties walk away, as in the case of a drag race. Too many people strutting around saying they beat some vehicle that others say isn't a threat who respond with "a kill's a kill". Since you both walked away to race again, it's not a kill.

A kill is when a missile flies up your tailpipe and you have to eject, or worse yet, your plane [tank, ship etc] blows up around you.

So Lightman, do you paint a bowtie or blue oval or, in the case of one poster, the BMW logo on the side of your truck for every "kill" you score? And what do you do if that "kill" shows back up to race again? Do you not have to race that vehicle again because you scored the "kill" already and it's technically not available to race?

Er... how can a "kill" race again if it's dead? Hmmmm......

Well Larry is right. Joel you can keep your argument of semantics to yourself, I'm done with it. In this CONTEXT, kill is used to represent winning a race...and if you read, the original story was how I was 'dusted' (like that better, or are we now talking about farmers and crops? ) by the truck. Jeez, I simply posted to tell a funny story of how the ram 1500 hemi beat me and another guy in a race. Didn't mean for you to get all bent out of shape Friends?
