My 03' 2500 SD2500 Laramie QC H.O. showed up at the dealership yesterday, and she not is sitting in my driveway. The 48RE trans seems to be nice, though I have not towed yet. Right out of the box (with about 100 miles on her so far) I am getting 17.5mpg per the calculator. This is a 4 X 4, and I figure with the engine being so tight that it will only get better.<br><br>Got to get the 500 miles on her right away, as she will be towing by next weekend. Nothing too heavy mind you, but about 4500 pounds. I got the sports appearence pkg. in white, and that came out REAL NICE. The BF Goodrich off road tires look equally as good (beats the tires that came of the d-max chevy that I had).
