I drive an 05 with the plastic tank ends, I have an 03 available, is the 03 the same size and thickness as the 05 unit? Does it flow and cool as well as the later model units, or am I wasting my money. Should I just buy one for the later model CR truck with metal ends caps. Thanks

Yes, but very pricey new...

 

AFAIK, all dimentions on CR CAC's are the same and the plastic tanks are an anomoly... so you can use the 03 tank and not notice a difference. But the aftermarket ones are so much better!!!

While I am not a Banks fan per se, their intercooler is not bad... call Banks directly and see about getting one of their blems for a discount... I have seen them as low as $650 for the blems.
