Does anyone know if the stock I/C from a 6.7 will fit on a 5.9? I'm thinking that this would be cheap upgrade.

I don't know how many miles are on your truck but the intercooler is covered for 100,000 miles and they will replace it with the metal one.

I know 5 people personaly that had their intercooler replaced by dodge when the plastic tank broke and all were replaced with metal ones, If you are over the 3-36000 miles you will have a $100 deductable

If I had the plastic intercooler I would take a punch and hammer and hit it in the corner. It will fail!!! how far from home do you want to be when it does. And if it does make it out of Warranty you will be stuck with the bill.
This was a big problum and their should have been a recal, mid way threw 05 they went back to all metal tanks.

This just happened to me. I felt it break with out even boosting at full psi. anyhow, i took it into the dealer, which happens to be owned by a good friend. He doesn't void my warranty, and i also have an aftermarket type warranty that are a waste of money, and they won't cover it. I am totally fustrated.

I got a universal aftercooler all aluminum 24" x 12" x 4" with 3" inlet and outlet thats rated for a working load of 40 to 45 psi from cx racing for $125. get a couple new boots and make one like that fit your truck it wont cost big bucks
