Installed Transmission Temp Gauge

I am showing an average temp of 150 degrees F for my automatic. Dealer tells me that the operating temps are from 80 to 240 degrees. Do these numbers sound correct?

Yup. Unless you're workin it, the temps stay pretty low. If you want to test your gauge, find a steep curvy hill and drive up it unlocked... should see at least 180-200.

Yeah that sounds about right. The hichest I've gotten is with my 5VR on but I was not doing any real tough pulling and got up to about 170
