Ok this might sound like I am looking for a problem that is not there but... What are the symptoms of failing injectors? I am approaching 100K on the truck and am doing a complete front end rebuild this week. (Tie rod ends, u joints and ball joints) Just wondering what'll be next.

Also any ideas of good reliable aftermarket injectors that may be an improvement over OEM without getting crazy?

Formula One from Don M was the best upgrade I made to my 03. I did not want to go crazy either and I got the F-1 injectors at 40hp and they really woke up the bottom end. I hava a TST but only run it on 2x2 for increased towing power and timing.
