Injection system flush?

Dealer said it needed to be done. Truck has 100,000 mi on it and is down at the dealer getting new heater doors, valve adjustment and maybe new steering components. So what do you guys know about the injection system flush?

Thanks

He's feeding you a line of BS to make some extra money. Run a fuel additive such as Power Service Diesel Kleen through the truck for one tank and it'll be fine. You can even run the Power Service in every tank if you want, which is a highly recommended thing due to the horrible side effects of ULSD.

k.. guess I need to throw the BS flag on the dealer... Did he offer to add blinker fluid for free? or are they running a sale on it right now?. Kinda like doing a "battery maintenance service" on maintenance free batteries!!.
Dump some Power Service as 92' stated, and forget about it. Just make sure the additive you use does NOT have acetone as an ingredient. You could even go into the dealership parts department and purchase a bottle of Mopar diesel fuel conditioner and dump it in.
Personally, I would just dump a small bottle of ashless 2 cycle engine oil in the tank.
