I was finishing off a in frame overhaul and breaking her inwhen the #6 rocker came loose and I lost a cross head down the pushrod hole. I'm pretty sure its stuck down on top of the brace that holds the tappet in place. How can I get access to it? It makes a rattling sound now , when in drive but not at idle, and sounds like its bouncing against the flywheel teeth. HELP PLEASE!

 

No way to do it on a CR execpt to pull all the push rods back out and look down the top. It is either that or pulling the cam out and taking a peak hopeing it will fall to the oil pan.
