Guys just thought i would post some pics of my intake horn i am making right now. took the old one off and didnt even rip the orange gasket! which was a bonus now alls i got to do is get this thing welded and then paint it with some high temp flat black paint. i hear this mod will spool the turbo a little quicker with some lower egts and the best part is it cost me nothing! i had a u bend laying around and a 45

finished it tonight and broke my oil dipstick at the same time errrrrrrrrr but i tapped it back together. The intake definitly spools the truck quicker and i took it for a pretty good drive and the intake itself wasnt even hot like the stock one. I sprayed it down with some high temp paint from advance auto parts and it looks pretty good . now alls i need is a dipstick and a dipstick holder
you cant beat the price either freeeeeeeeeeeee

Thats good cucv, do you have a finished picture of the horn? Dipstick is not too expensive, get this mine was missing when I purchased my truck, but didnt care because the price of the truck was VERY REASONABLE. Dip stick cost me less than 10 bucks at the dealer. Yeah it was that cheap! I will see if I muster up the will to make one on my own. I have a tubing bender just dont have a die that size to make the bend. I will attempt to make it this summer. Too busy right now with work full time and school full time....

you sure its stainless? the flange looks like mild steel with a MIG weld. once its painted im sure it looks great, i might have to try a turn at it since i got some bends left over from building my twins... i like free too!

I have 1 similar to yours, painted with Rust-o-leum Hammered finish.
Turbo spools up much quicker with a little more low end power...

Very happy with mine.
