There was a post a while back on enabling the high idle on the 06's that stated there was a kit available that would allow the feature to work on the 6 speed trucks. I need some more info about the kit. Is it being offered through Dodge, and if so would someone happen to have a part number?
The reason I ask is because every time I mention it to a Dodge tech they just look at me like I grew a third arm.

 

The Mopar P/N 5175417AA and you'll need the tech to "enable" the high idle feature with his scan tool. I ended up paying 1.5 hours labor to have my dealer install the kit.

 

on a 04.5 and newer all you have to do is ground the number 22 pin on the rear ecm plug and your high idle will work great. no switch needed.
